Protocol: Interventions to Prevent Cognitive and Behavioural Violent Radicalisation: A Systematic Review and Multilevel Meta‐Analysis: A Systematic Review (University of Cambridge)

Through quantitative analysis, the current evaluation aims to methodically evaluate the efficacy of interventions intended to stop or lessen violent radicalization and terrorism. Whether some strategies are more effective than others, how participant characteristics affect outcomes, how intervention design, implementation, and methodology affect impact, and which interventions successfully reduce cognitive and behavioral radicalization, prevent at-risk individuals from radicalizing, or support disengagement and de-radicalization are addressed. To ascertain which interventions are most effective, for whom, and under what circumstances, the analysis will look at factors including age, gender, risk level, theoretical frameworks, facilitator training, dose, and research design.
